In both my photos and my writing, I explore the relationships between humanity, technology and nature. I started in West Virginia, where I was born, and have continued to Oregon, where I currently reside. Along the way, I've visited 45 states, lived in Japan and traveled in China and Vietnam. My photographs and articles have appeared in numerous print and web-based publications, including Trains and Railfan & Railroad magazines, calendars, and at the California State Railroad Museum.
